Summer Program

Battle 2022 Summer Program

Summer Volleyball Program Overview

Our Summer Volleyball Program is back again for the 4th year!

Summer time is when most players (elementary school up through high school) attend volleyball camps held at local schools, universities, and clubs.  Most camps consist of a couple of days of intensive (eat, practice, sleep, eat, practice, sleep ..) volleyball focused on position training.

Our Summer Program is not a replacement for these camps.  On the contrary, we wholeheartedly encourage everyone to attend camps when possible!  Our focus is on building up players to be all around volleyball players.   We believe nothing does that more than being trained to play outdoor (or indoor) doubles, with a lot of reps over a longer period of time.  When playing doubles, there is no such thing as a front row only, back row only, libero, ds, OH, MB, setter ... etc.  You have to be able to do it all!

We could teach doubles indoors, but we also want everyone to enjoy the sun and outdoors.  It's different playing with the wind and against the wind, versus temperature controlled facilities.

We will be conducting 2 practices per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) outdoors, on either the grass field next to K Sports or at Vint Hill.  We will also incorporate some practices on sand at Northern Fauquier Community Park (between The Plains and Marshall).

Program Dates: June 4th  - July 30th

Program Cost: $450

Practice Schedule:

Tuesdays - 5 PM to 7 PM Outdoor (Grass) Instruction @ K Sports or @ Vint Hill

Thursdays - 5 PM to 7 PM Outdoor (Grass) Instruction @ K Sports or @ Vint Hill
